I am a native English speaker originally from London. I have decades of international editorial experience and in my career both as an employed professional and as a freelance consultant, I have worked consistently for magazines, newspapers and television in a variety of roles including editor, proofreader, writer, researcher and voice over artist.
I have transformed text written by non native English speakers into clear and concise English and I have researched and written a variety of my own original articles as well as writing articles and documenting oral history from information supplied by others, about their personal experiences, businesses and lives. I particularly enjoy writing about and highlighting unsung heroes. As the daughter of broadcast journalist parents, I was meeting and engaging with interesting people from all walks of life from a very early age and ever since those formative years, I have continued to be interested in people, their lives, experiences and what makes them tick! Whenever I profile a new business, I am eager to find out about the people or person behind the business and what their story is!
